in the realms of the invisible

Reiki

Even today, after more than ten years of practice, I still struggle to explain it. It saved me through the practitioner Aude Bongi , and then it called out to me. At the time, I was very ambitious, eager for all the sensations, messages, visions, and altered states of consciousness that Reiki could transport me to. I wanted to turn it into a career quickly; I wanted to capitalize on it. It didn’t take long to realize that with Reiki energy, I’m never the one who decides… I could have understood that in the Master’s gaze, André Baechler, who guided my training from the very beginning, if only I hadn’t been in such a hurry… Slowly but surely, I am learning.

The great quest of my life is alignment. I think we believe we’re aligned until the day we actually become aligned, and then we look back at the path we’ve traveled and realize we weren’t. Weeks, months, and years go by, and once again we feel a new alignment taking hold, and we tell ourselves, “Hmm, maybe I wasn’t that aligned after all.” And so on and so forth.

I know that today my actions are in line with my words, my words are in line with my thoughts, and my thoughts resonate with my heart. I feel centered. In ten years, I’ll probably tell you that I wasn’t.

Nevertheless, I am truly convinced that I am on the right path—my path. A path that allows me to share my knowledge and put it into practice for the benefit of others.

For me, Reiki is a gift for anyone seeking a connection to their inner self, to the divine within them. The gentle yet powerful energy of a Reiki session brings subtle changes to the lives of those who receive it.

Reiki calls to us when we are ready and works on whatever within us is ready to be released, observed, or healed.

As a practitioner, I don’t make any decisions. I offer no guarantees and can’t promise anything. My confidence comes from my faith. I know that Reiki energy will go where it needs to go and do the necessary work through me. And for me, it’s a wonder every time—it’s magical every time!

THE HISTORY OF REIKI

Reiki is an energy-based practice of Japanese origin developed in the early 20th century by Mikao Usui. After several years of spiritual exploration, study, and meditation, Mikao Usui is said to have had a profound experience on Mount Kurama, near Kyoto. From this experience emerged a method designed to promote harmony between the body, mind, and emotions.

The word "Reiki" is composed of two Japanese characters: "Rei," which can be translated as "universal" or "spiritual," and "Ki," which refers to the life energy present in all things. Together, they evoke the idea of a universal energy that supports life and well-being.
Traditionally, a Reiki session is performed by placing the hands on or near different areas of the body. This gentle approach promotes a state of deep relaxation and inner centering. Many people use it to help release tension, reduce stress, restore a sense of calm, or support a journey of personal development.

Over the decades, Reiki has spread far beyond Japan and is now practiced in many countries around the world. Each practitioner develops their own approach while adhering to the fundamental principles passed down by Mikao Usui: kindness, mindfulness, gratitude, and the pursuit of inner balance.

In my practice, Reiki is offered as a space for relaxation, reconnecting with oneself, and listening to the body. It is part of a holistic approach that views the person as a whole, taking into account the physical, emotional, mental, and energetic dimensions.

Reiki is in no way a substitute for medical care or treatment. It is a complementary approach to well-being designed to promote relaxation and overall balance.
