Based on the concept of “suspended coffees”—where customers pay a little extra to buy a coffee for someone who can’t afford it—I’d like to dedicate part of my practice to “paying it forward.”
Throughout my life—and perhaps you can relate to my experience—I’ve always been fortunate to have people around me who have helped me.
In various ways—whether financial, emotional, or professional—the support I received has contributed, directly or indirectly, to my current success.
One of my firm beliefs is that you can’t achieve anything on your own. There are always others who contribute to our success.
An idea...
The idea first took shape in 2024, even before my practice officially opened.
I am fortunate to be surrounded by many women, each one more extraordinary than the next. Yet some of them are suffering.
They are struggling with the current economic climate, the mental strain weighing on their shoulders, their single status or their relationship, the pain in their hearts and bodies, or simply the weight of life.
So I asked myself a very simple question:
But in practical terms, what can I do?
I don't have the means to ease their financial hardship.
I can be a good listener, yes.
But what I need and want—beyond simply helping them—is to give massages, to make them feel good, and above all, to offer them a moment suspended in time.
A break...
When we’re caught up in this never-ending cycle of commute-work-sleep-kids-husband-dog-cat-mom-dad-brother-sister-cousin-money-shopping-bills, and so on, sometimes we just need a moment to unwind.
To unwind in a place with someone we feel safe with.
A place where our bodies can feel safe, too.
And for an hour, someone takes care of us.
Someone who truly wants to be there, who deeply loves what she does, and who puts her whole heart into it.
An initiative that already exists...
Even before my practice officially opened, I began carefully selecting certain individuals whom I believed could benefit from this approach.
I massaged them.
And it worked.
I helped.
I noticed a difference, and so did they.
Sometimes, it really doesn't take much to lighten the burden someone is carrying.
Today
Today, I am pleased to officially introduce this initiative to you.
If you know anyone who might need this but can’t afford it, please let me know.
If you can’t afford it but feel that my practice could be beneficial to you, please write to me.
In addition, some beneficiaries will be referred by a small network of healthcare professionals, including social workers, occupational therapists, psychotherapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists.
How can I contribute?
I personally commit to offering one suspended massage per month.
What about you?
For every CHF 100 raised, a suspended massage is donated.
The number of suspended massages available for the coming month will be announced on the last Wednesday of each month, for the start of the following month.
The confidentiality of beneficiaries is fully guaranteed.
Donations are tax-deductible…so please give generously!
